I thought it would be a show with depth and rich with cool sci-fi, aswell as the human aspect. I'm so glad it still has some episodes to run as they now have time to get it right and after that, who knows!? Page 48, yeah, MR has taken alot of stick but it's not all her fault. If the foundations are in place then the actors can build from that and contribute to what should be a good tv series. I agree that BW should be serious..they should have kept to that premise as that's what got people interested in during the summer. The more intense and edgy the show, the better! The show we currently have was not the one that Eick promised us, so I guess that someone must have interferred with his original plan. Exactly - there's certainly a market for a good sci-fi series of this type..mistakes have been made but now they have the chance to give us something to repay our faith! Let's hope they deliver! You nailed it when you said "all we want is good TV". It's not a lot to ask for. It's been done before. It can be done again. I know MR is not the crap actress many people accuse her of being. I've watched her grow up on TV. Give her something to work with and let her prove herself. "Chuck" is fine, but it's a comedy, it's all about silliness. BW should strive to be a serious action/adventure show in the "Alias" tradition. It has to get serious, it has to get complicated, it has to get life or death tense, it has to lose the baby sister nonsense, in short it has to get better. I watched the "Battlestar Galactica" movie "Razor" a few weeks ago, and it just wreaks of the kind of intensity that is completely absent from BW. If NBC is interfering, then they need to stop. I believe there is a huge appetite for great television, and BW has the tools to deliver, it's just a matter of leadership. NBC knows there is an audience wanting this kind of TV because BW debuted to a huge audience. Now it's up to them to deliver the show that people want. The writing really needs to improve. However, I also watch Journeyman and Chuck, and enjoyed both of those much more than BW, which was a surprise to me. I thought going into this TV season that BW would be one of my favorites, but that just hasn't been the case.
