Most if not all of the UK press are saying its cancelled
The Daily Mail has a horrid piece about Michelle being made a scapegoat by the network and since she came back to England she sits in front of her tv watching Eastenders and feels depressed about all thats happened :(
Its over thats for sure,i no longer care about NBC or the show,my concern is for this lovely girl who’s being blamed for rubbish scripts and poor production and direction
My heart goes out to her if this is true

I read the same Daily Mail piece (which sports a gorgeous pic of MR, BTW). I notice all the recent news items originate in the UK. I don’t know how reputable these publications are or whether they are supermarket tabloids who make up the news that suits them.

I, too, was offended by the comments from an un-named source, which stated “frankly, the bosses at the network decided to blame Michelle for the show’s failure. Their bet was that American viewers would fall in love with her looks, personality, and the character she played.”

Those “bosses” would have every right to be ashamed of the product they put on the air, but trying to pin the blame on MR, if that is really what’s happening here, would absolutely wreak of cowardice. Not only that, it would be pointing the finger in the extreme wrong direction.

Like you Bionic Blog - i am waiting for an official confirmation that the show is cancelled. But the fact that it isn’t on NBC’s list is not good news.

Shame as it was improving. BTW - i agree with the commenters who say that it isn’t MR’s fault that the show flopped.

I want it to come back but it doesn’t look likely…what a wasted opportunity.

It’ll be interesting to see what MR does next. Will she stay in England or come back to Hollywood. We will see…

It is odd that most of this news is coming from the UK source. What do they know that others don’t? I’m still holding out hope that the show will stay on the air, but i’m not impressed with those “bosses” who have apparently shifted the blame onto MR.
Neena, i think MR will do a few things in England - hopefully she’ll get something of the caliber of Jekyll. She’ll probably also do a few movies and hopefully get another chance in the US. But as you said, we’ll see.
