Thanks to Knight-Lord for sending me this funny blooper of Michelle Ryan trying, but failing, to throw a melon in the famous ‘market’ scene from the “Education of Jaime Sommers” episode. Warning, a swear word is used by one of the guys filming the blooper - poor Michelle.

Just a reminder of some of the ‘cool’ bits from Bionic Woman.
Looking at that makes the show look about 10 times better! It also shows the power of media - the way you can structure something in order to give it a better chance..

Michelle Ryanrecently did an interview with the UK’s GMTV. In the interview she denies any relationship with Owen Wilson (glad I didn’t bother blogging about it!) - she hasn’t even met the man, she also talks about the ‘Bionic Woman’, how much she is enjoying it and her excitement that it will be airing in the UK (amongst other things). Have a look:
Did anyone else get the feeling that the show will almost definitely be back if the writers strike ends soon!? Not only did Michelle pretty much infer that it ‘depends on what happens’ regarding the strike, but her vibes were ‘positive’, if you know what I mean? She spoke about the show in the present tense and seemed fairly open in her responses. I think that she may have been told that if the writers strike ends before the New Year, then the show will be back. I mean, why else would NBC be so tight-lipped on the shows future? There’s no reason for them to remain silent UNLESS they were waiting for the length of the strike to become clearer. So there you have it, I think that the series will continue (or be relaunched) IF the strike ends soon. I could be wrong of course.
Thanks to ryansxpress for alerting me to the fact that she had the interview with GMTV and to Oz992 for uploading the interview to Youtube.

Okay, so Molly Price wasn’t quite a ‘newbie’ in this scene, but it’s so funny that I had to use it anyway. It’s from the 4.12 episode of “Third Watch”(2003) and Molly’s character, Faith Yokas, has a ‘TMI’ (Too much information) moment when her partner asks her a question about sex.
I love this clip because she begins answering the question so reasonably and offers some great advice..and then out of nowhere and with sadistic precision she traumatises the poor guy with her sextalk! : D
I kinda prefer this version of Molly to the one we have on BW - in this clip she seems ’serious’ and ‘professional’ (like our Ruth), but she is also deceptively funny. I don’t know what it is about her BW character..she’s just kinda lost her way. Molly can clearly handle screen-time, so for goodness sakes guys..give it to her!!

This video has now been posted on Yoootube - From the folks at G4:
I love the part where she slams blondie (aka ‘Will’) against the wall!..ahh, brings back memories from September.

By now I’m sure you’ve heard about the Writers Strike which is set to shake up Hollywood and potentially affect the futures of our TV shows (Bionic Woman included). So, what exactly DO the writers want? This video should help explain:
Where do you stand on this matter? Do you support the writers, the studios or do you not care? Has this video changed your opinion in any way?

In number 4 in our ’Before They Were Famous’ series, we turn the spotlight on Mr. Cool aka Miguel Ferrer.
In ‘Bionic Woman’ Ferrer plays Burket Boss Jonas Bledsoe but he’s also known for playing Albert Rosenfield (1990-91) in the legendary Twin Peaks. Since then Miguel has (physically) ’filled out’ quite a bit and it’s easy to see that he had ’something’ about him..call it an on-screen ’presence’:
Stay tuned for number #5 in the series!
