I’d like to thank everyone who has commented, visited, linked to, emailed me news/exclusives and referenced Bionic-Blog over this past year – although the show didn’t live up to all of our expectations, it was great being a part of this community and reading all of your comments and opinions on the show. You guys who left comments on this blog should have been the ones writing the show – no doubt you would hav done a far better job than the actual writers!

I’m sure that the new owner has lots of good things in store for the site and I wish him all the best with it! However, as from this post, I am no longer the owner of B-B. Fansite-wise I have started a new site for Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse - i’m hoping it will be the show that BW ‘could’ have been. And of course I still love my favourite TV show, LOST. No doubt I will still be talking about that. These two shows, along with JJ Abrams Fringe, are my hot-tips for the year, and they’ll certainly be the shows that i’ll be watching!

This crossed my mind the other day when thinking about the extent of Will Anthros’ creepyness (i.e.’grooming’ Jaime) and Jaime’s ability to move on from what surely should still be a very painful time for her (the loss of her baby, Will’s deception/death etc).

So what exactly would happen if one of Jaime’s ‘encounters’ (think public bathroom scene from episode 2) led to her getting pregnant? I assume that the Anthrocytes wouldn’t prevent her from conceiving (or would they?)? Whats more, would her pregnancy term be the same 9 month period as ‘normal’ woman, or would her pregnancy be expedited due to the rapid ‘healing’ that the implants give her?

But I suppose my most burning question is this: If Jaime were to give birth..would the baby be Bionic? Would the baby have Anthrocytes and implants passed down from Jaime? Was THIS Will’s plan..did he WANT a Bionic baby..is this why he was so ‘happy’ to hear that Jaime was pregnant (episode 1), was this why he wanted to marry her, in order to ensure that his investment bore fruit (literally)? Looking back it seems likely.

Of course the hole in this theory is that the ‘unexpected’ accident was the catalyst that made him install her with bionics (in order to save her life)..HOWEVER, from the secret files that he had on her, it seems clear to me that he had long planned to make Jaime Bionic and the accident merely expedited that process.

I know this can be torn to pieces but this is my theory…and I’m sticking to it! Think what such a creation would do to the ‘scientific community’..to be able to create a hybrid child which is genetically ‘bionic’..

Please let me know of any thoughts or counter ideas/theories that you have on the above, I’d love to hear them!

As for the title of this post..yes I tried to be clever with the play-on-words in reconition of the film (which has nothing to do with Bionics)..and I know..if Jaime did have a Bionic baby, it would be worth a lot more than $1 Million, seeing as Jaime is worth $50 Mil of Burket money ; )

*Also, just to let those of you interested know that the Episode Investigations for “The Education of Jaime Sommers” will be posted in a couple of days time – I figured that with there being no episode this week, I would delay it by a few days.

I’ve made the map small enough so that it can fit in my sidebar without stretching the screen, but if you’re having difficulty adding your pin/shoutout/photo etc, simply click on the silver bar just below the map and it will launch it in a new wider screen which makes it much easier to do all of the above, especially for the first time!

Also, if you experience any problems, errors or difficulties with the map then please do let me know either by emailing me or by leaving a shout in the Shoutbox (Watercooler), which is also in the right sidebar.

Just a quick post to let you know that i’ve added a ‘Blog Translation’feature to Bionic-Blog. So if English isn’t your native language or if you prefer to read this blog in another language then simply use the ‘Translate’ option in the far right sidebar and it will translate the content of this blog into into the available languages! It uses Googles language translation feature – the translations aren’t 100% perfect, but they are pretty decent from what I hear.

I really want this blog (as well as the show itself) to reach as many people as possible, so hopefully this will aid those of you who would rather read Bionic-Blog in another language. If you run into any problems using this feature, please let me know by leaving a comment or by emailing me. Likewise, if the feature works well for you I love to hear postive feedback too.

I’ll be happy to have any feedback on this, afterall i’m doing this for you guys, the Bionic Community. :)
