I had wondered whether there were any episodes which had escaped the writers strike – and there is! Next week BW will return with episode 1.08 – “Do Not Disturb”.

There’s no episode today because NBC are breaking it for Thanksgiving, but this episode will air next Wednesday at the usual time of 8/9c. Check out the trailer:

It is difficult to make out exactly what is going on in the above footage – if you have any idea at all please let do me know! However it is a good to see that filming is still ongoing (we knew that, but it’s good to have something tangible). Also, I wonder what episode this could be? We know that NBC recently ordered some new scripts, so could this be episode 10 or 11 of the 13 NBC scheduled? It’s strange to think that we are potentially half way through the first season (assuming the show doesn’t get picked up for a ‘full’ season of course).

SPOILER ALERT!

One of my sources has just informed me that the title of episode 7 has changed from “Everything Will Change” to “Trust Issues“.

I find this slightly bizarre seeing as last weeks “Face Off” was top-heavy on the ‘trust’ angle. Don’t forget, a similar thing happened with episode 2, which was originally going to be called “Birds“, until they decided to called it “Paradise Lost“. It’s possible that NBC’s recent request for new scripts has seen a change in the original plan for this episode.

The rest of you can enjoy these tantalising images from this wees “Sisterhood” episode. Both the title and the images suggest that we’ll be seeing more of the Jaime/Becca relationship, and possibly the coming together of the two Bionic Woman:

Spoiler Alert: Episode details for 1.03 and 1.04 follow

Episode Title: Sisterhood (1.03)

Jaime’s new assignment involves protecting of a contractor’s daughter. At the same time, she ponders whether or not to help Sarah move on from her personal demons.

Jaime, while on a mission to rescue an American doctor working in Paraguay, uncovers the truth about her bionic lifespan. Miguel Ferrer, Molly Price, Will Yun Lee, Mark Sheppard, Chris Bowers and Lucy Kate Hale also star.

Spoiler Alert!

Jordan Bridges (“Conviction”) is the latest actor to join Bionic Woman. He will play Tom, a teachers assistant who also works for the CIA. He is obviously being lined up as a new love interest for Jaime Sommers – those of you who read my earlier spoiler post, will know that in the next episode Jaime reveals to Antonio Pope (Isaiah Washington) that Will is dead.

So, they didn’t waste any time in getting rid of Will! It would seem that they were either looking for an impact death, or they were listening to feedback you guys as I know a lot of you in the Bionic Community weren’t really feeling him.

However, there has been some recent counter rumours which suggest that in actual fact Will isn’t dead. Does the Burket Group have him in ‘holding’ somewhere? Next we’ll be speculating as to whether Jaime’s baby really died in that accident, though the thought of Will secretly creating a Bionic baby really would be unethical. Or would it? What price would you pay to save the life of a loved one?

Anyway, as for thew original spoiler we can expect Jaime to eventually move on from Will – what? you didn’t expect a hawt woman like that to stay single for too long did you?

All I can say is OMG! If Jaime is speaking literally and not figuratively, then I must say it’s a shock to me. Also, we have our first appearance of Antonio Pope..what do you make of his interaction with Jaime? Voice your opinions!

It looks like Jaime is being sent (or agreeing to go) on her first ‘mission’ for the Burks..sorry, Burket Group. It would also appear that there’s another early encounter with Sarah Corvus on the cards! I liked Jae Lee’s soundbite:

“The machine is nothing without the woman” – notice the order in which he places ‘machine’ and ‘woman’ – it would appear that Jae values humanity over technology..

By the way, the next episode is called ‘Birds’.
