mnsbc report that new Bionic cast member, Isaiah Washington stat down with ‘Access Hollywood’ and shed yet more light on the ‘issues’ between himself, T. R. Knight the (so-called) ABC-Dempsey alliance. Apparently, Washington did use a homophobic slur but not to Knight (who wasn’t on set at the time), with former ‘Grey’s’ cast-member, Dempsey, ‘apparently’ not telling the whole truth:

“Patrick is… Patrick is Patrick Dempsey. And he protects himself well,” Washington said. “He did what he felt he needed to do and remained silent.”

 

Well, that’s all the column inches that i’m going to dedicate to that - let’s move onto the part that actually concerns Bionic/NBC. Asked whether he thinks his move to NBC, and more specifically BW, will cause a backlash amongst the fans, Washington replied:

“That’s why I joined the military for four years and was prepared to put my life on the line for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That is their right to have their opinion, but I would love to invite them to any debate or any forum to get to know me, to talk to me,” Washington concluded.
