It looks bleak doesn't it!? If the strike doesn't end within 3 weeks (we've nearly had 2 already) then actors may look to other projects.

Also, as you pointed out in today's update the actor's have the right to choose to leave the show if the strike lasts longer than 5 weeks!!! Seeing as they are now on half pay why shouldn't they look to go elsewhere??!!

The ramnifications just keep piling up.... :(

That's the thing - NBC now have a ready made excuse to axe the show completely. I know they appear to be re-launching the show in January, but what if the strike is still on at this time? It's likely that they will seek other shows and bury the Bionic Woman! Not that this changes my view on the strike, but it's interesting to think of the possible ramifications of this stand-off.

I am extremely supportive of the writer's strike. However like you it hit me ..."what if as a result of a long drawn out battle some of my new favourites are cancelled???" Shows like BW & Life that are just starting to get on their feet and living up to their potential, what if they get cancelled just because the studios decide to take the easy way out and place the blame squarely on the writer's striking and just saying .."oh well we were left with no other choice but to cancel!"

I hope that both sides get back to the negotiating table and are able to reach a workable solution for both sides. Th studios need to let go of some of the greed and share a small portion of the wealth to the people that help them make it!! I mean seriously they stand to amke a lot more from new media $$$... I just hope that for everyone involved this ends soon.
